Bloom To Life(BTL) is a California-based Non-profit 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization that has helped sponsor underprivileged children with life saving Heart Surgeries in India and Africa. Since 2015, we have helped sponsor 380+ Heart surgeries for the most underserved children with the help of generous donors who believe in this cause. Bloom To Life has tied up with the best hospitals and top Pediatric Cardiology surgeons in India to do these heart surgeries.
Almost 1.4 million children are born worldwide yearly with Congenital heart defects or CHD. In the US, there are 40,000 children born every year with CHD, and all of these children have access to care. No child with CHD is left behind in the US. But in Low and Middle-Income countries, 90% of the children do not have access to care.
In India alone, 250K children with CHD die yearly due to lack of access to care. It costs around $3,000 to $5,000 USD per child for pediatric heart surgery compared to $150,000 per surgery in the US.
In India we have helped children from 18 different states, currently our focus is on three states - Jharkhand, Odisha and Bihar, as these are the most underserved states with more than 70% tribal population. By conducting well organized continuous medical camps in these three states we identify the most underserved children who need urgent heart surgeries.
Pediatric cardiac heart surgeries are incredibly complex and carry a much higher risk than any other operation. Most children who undergo treatment for heart defects during early life lead healthy and productive lives, going to university, finding employment, getting married, and having children of their own, thereby contributing to the well-being of their families and society. Timely detection and treatment are the critical determinants of outcomes in these children, and funding is often the main roadblock in this process.
Our Medical Advisory Board consists of Eminent doctors from India, Columbia University, University of Washington, Stanford Children's Hospital, UCSF, Oregon Health and Science University.

- The Arbitrage: We secure permanent, life-altering interventions at a highly efficient cost of $3,000–$6,000 USD per procedure.
