Do you love helping animals? Then Coppell Humane Society if the place for you! We are in need of volunteers to fill a variety of long and short-term positions. Don't have a lot of time? Join a committee! Want to do something long or short-term that won't eat up all of your free time? We can make that work! Don't have time, but want to support in other ways? Think about sponsoring an event or becoming a corporate partner!
We would love to chat with you about our program and volunteer opportunities, some of which include:
- Publicity/Social Media Marketing
- Fundraising (long-term planning, short-term campaigns, event planning, etc.)
- North Texas Giving Day Committee
- Grant Writing
- Community Outreach
- Fostering
- Adoption Coordinator (helping oversee/facilitate fosters and adopters)
We are a 100% volunteer-run organization that has been thriving since 1989. We were the only animal rescue organization in Coppell until 1995, when the Coppell Animal Shelter came into being. We have no physical location, so all of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. We work with local animal shelters (which are city-run) to find homes and provide medical care and other services to animals who cannot get what they need or are not thriving in a shelter environment. We do not receive funding from government or larger organizations and rely on community support and our volunteers to help us continue to do the work that we do.
