Sensory Sensitive 4th of July

The Sound at Cypress Waters is proud to host its 4th Annual Sensory Sensitive 4th of July Celebration on Thursday, July 3 from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. This unique event is designed to provide a fun, welcoming space for individuals with Autism, sensory sensitivities, PTSD, and others who may find traditional fireworks overwhelming, and for pets.

No fireworks. No loud booms. Just joy.

Instead of traditional fireworks, guests will enjoy a Star-Spangled Glow, a stunning LED bracelet experience that lights up the evening without the sensory overload. The event will also include:

• Bright Minds Interactive Area with engaging sensory-safe activities
• Face painting and balloon art
• Live entertainment featuring “Reputation,” a Taylor Swift tribute band
• Pet Parade celebrating our furry family members
• Creature Teacher animal encounters
• Community vendors and resource booths

“We created this event to ensure everyone can celebrate Independence Day in a way that feels safe, comfortable, and fun,” said Lucy Billingsley, Billingsley Company. “It’s a night to bring the whole family — including pets — and enjoy music, lights, and connection.”
