Description
Designed as a quick one-hour interactive forum, our workshops enhance skills and knowledge in critical business disciplines. Our next program on Thursday, March 7 will help participants understand how businesses can utilize ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence chatbot that uses natural language processing to create humanlike conversational dialogue.
During this workshop, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of ChatGPT, its applications and practical usage scenarios. Presenters will teach attendees how to fine-tune and customize prompts for optimized responses, as well as ethical considerations when deploying ChatGPT in various contexts.
The workshop will be led by:
Angie Cook, Chair of English at Dallas College's Eastfield and North Lake campuses
Cook is currently pursuing a PhD in rhetoric, delving into rapidly evolving research on the intersection of artificial intelligence and composition and has presented her findings to members of the academic community.
Ulanda Forbess, English instructor at Dallas College – North Lake
For her doctoral studies in higher education, Forbess specialized in educational technology, with a primary focus on the use of technology to enhance the teaching/learning environment.
There will be time for networking - plus coffee and refreshments.
