Event Description:

Imagine what Coppell looked like when it was first settled? Now you have your chance at the second annual Pioneer Day on Saturday, June 16, in Old Town Coppell from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Adults and children can learn about the history of Coppell, partake in activities and watch demonstrations such as butter churning, coffee grinding, as well as an animal petting area, music, food and more.

Do not miss the Pioneer Parade, beginning at 9 a.m. at Life Safety Park! Those who participate will need to line up at 8:30 a.m. in time for judging at 8:45 a.m.

The categories for the contests are as follows: Most Authentic, Best Decorate and Most Spirited.
 

Parade Route:

Begins at Life Safety Park parking lot
West on Coppell Road
West on Burns Street
North on Hammond Street
East on Travis Street
North on E. Main Street
Ends at the corner of E. Main Street and Houston Street
