Event Description:

​​​​​The Coppell Police Department is celebrating the 36th Anniversary of National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1. The City of Coppell has been nationally recognized for the last 13 years for its participation in this event.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and develop police-community partnerships. National Night Out sends a message to criminals that keeping our neighborhoods and our families safe from crime in important.

Coppell Police Department, Coppell Fire Department, City of Coppell Council members and McGruff will begin visiting block parties from 6 – 8 pm. To register your block party, download the Block Party application​​ and submit to pgonzales@coppelltx.gov or kcochran@coppelltx.gov by 5 pm on Friday, September 13.

On September 19, the Coppell Police Department will host a Block Captain Party from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Life Safety Park. The National Night Out t-shirts and balloons will be handed out following dinner.
