Carrie Rogers joined the NTTA in 2006. She has served as the director of government affairs since 2007, overseeing all local, state and federal outreach to elected officials and key stakeholders.  She manages external policy matters impacting the NTTA through advice and counsel to the NTTA Board of Directors, executive and senior leadership.

 
Previously, she served as director of government affairs and director of education for Dallas Regional Chamber and as deputy regional director for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison.
 
Rogers holds a master’s degree in American Studies from the University of Dallas and a bachelor’s degree in English from Westminster College in Missouri.


The Governmental Affairs Committee has historically taken on the role of educator in the political arena by providing monthly round-table discussions on issues of importance to the business community.

Governmental Affairs hosts the Annual State of the City Address, Candidate Forum as well as other events throughout the year.
