The food will be prepared by local\, seasoned chefs\, along with several market vendors and committed customers with a passion for cooking. All will work closely with growers and producers who sell their goods at our market. Most offerings will be paired with a local wine\, craft beer\, or signature cocktail.\n\n\n\nThe 2019 Taste of the Market event is a celebration of all who contribute to the local food system by highlighting farmers and producers and raising awareness of the value of local markets. Ticket sale proceeds will support the use of Texas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Lone Star Cards at the market. SNAP is designed to help low-income families purchase nutritional food. CFM grants each SNAP user an additional $10 per visit to purchase produce and meat at the market.
