The Sensory Sensitive 4th of July Celebration is a free community event designed to reduce sensory overload while still delivering all the festive fun! What Makes This Event Special? We’ve reimagined the traditional 4th of July experience with thoughtful modifications for guests who benefit from a sensory-sensitive atmosphere: No Fireworks – replaced with a stunning Star Spangled Glow, an animated and artistic show on the side an building brought to you by Artsillary. Live Music – featuring Buffett Beach, a Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, with controlled sound levels Interactive Fun – balloon art, face painting, Creature Teacher animal encounters Pet-Friendly – leashed furry friends are welcome Calm Zone – a quiet indoor space at Town Hall for anyone needing a break Autism-Trained Staff – restaurant teams and volunteers are prepared to create a supportive, respectful environment
