Event Description:
iCode of Coppell is hosting STEM Camps during the Thanksgiving Break. We will be offering a different topic/activity each day. We are holding the camps on November 19th - 21st for $199 (includes $35 Deposit) for all 3 days. Register here or RSVP on Facebook.
Monday Nov 19th
Drones: Briefly learn about aviation history before learning the mechanism of drones. Students will be introduced to basic flight mechanics and aerodynamic principles to understand how to fly a drone. They will develop critical analysis and quick decision-making skills, while maneuvering through obstacle courses.
Tuesday Nov 20th:
Battlebot Robotics: Design, build and test a robot! This camp is designed to introduce the basics of Robotics and the design of combat robots. Using the Lego EV3 Mindstorms students will build a combat robot. At the end of the camp, the teams will compete against each other in the robot arena!
Wednesday, Nov 21st:
Python & Minecraft: Students will learn how to control the player, manually build with blocks and use the Python interface to manipulate the world around them.
