Speaker Jason Wright
Office of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz
Jason Wright is the North Texas Regional Director for Senator Ted Cruz. Prior to becoming NTX Regional Director, Jason was the East Texas Regional Director and was located in Tyler, TX. Jason has been a member of Senator Cruz's staff since the Senator was sworn in January of 2013.
Prior to joining Senator Cruz's staff Jason was a Tyler City Councilman where he represented Tyler's 6th District. He was the founder and CEO of Third Day Ventures, Inc., a boutique private equity firm focused primarily on real estate ventures.
He is also the co-founder of Mustang Southern Capital. Jason holds a B.A. In Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University and an M.B.A. From The Cox School of Business at SMU.
He has two daughters, Rylan (15) and Abby (14)

The Governmental Affairs Committee has historically taken on the role of educator in the political arena by providing monthly round-table discussions on issues of importance to the business community.
Governmental Affairs hosts the Annual State of the City Address, Candidate Forum as well as other events throughout the year.
