Please join the Coppell Chamber of Commerce as well welcome James Russell, who currently covers the Texas Legislature for Quorum Report, Texas’ largest political newsletter, as our guest speaker for the June 20 Government Affairs forum.

Russell also contributes to Dallas Voice, where he was a staff writer and calendar editor, the Texas Jewish Post and others. He won an literary award for his coverage of the 84th Texas Legislative session. He also blogs at jmrusselljr.com. He lives in Fort Worth. The Governmental Affairs Committee has historically taken on the role of educator in the political arena by providing monthly round-table discussions on issues of importance to the business community.

Governmental Affairs hosts the Annual State of the City Address, Candidate Forum as well as other events throughout the year. The forum will now meet at the second floor conference room at Town Center and will begin at 11:30 a.m.
