Event Description:
For children in grades K-1. Students in this class will learn about basic fire safety elements, such as Stop, Drop, and Roll, the importance of having a home fire escape plan, and understanding smoke alarms. After a short classroom portion, students will meet with a firefighter to learn about his/her safety gear. Registered students will then be given a quick overview on jeep operation before getting drive time around Safety Town.
